Ethics of scientific publications
The section was prepared based on the materials of the International Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) - View file.
The editorial board and editor-in-chief of the international scientific and technical journal "Trenie I Iznos" (ISSN 0202-4977) adhere to the principles of publication ethics accepted by the international community, presented in:
- recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) - View file,
- Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications,
- and also take into account the valuable experience of reputable international journals and publishers.
In order to avoid dishonest practices in publishing activities (plagiarism, presentation of false information, etc.), in order to ensure the high quality of scientific publications, public recognition of the scientific results obtained by the author, each member of the editorial board, author, reviewer, publisher, as well as institutions participating in publishing process, are obliged to comply with ethical standards, rules and regulations and take all reasonable measures to prevent violations of them.
Compliance with the rules of ethics of scientific publications by all participants in this process contributes to:
- обеспечению авторских прав на интеллектуальную собственность,
- повышению качества издания,
- исключению возможности неправомерного использования авторских материалов в интересах отдельных лиц.
Borrowing and plagiarism
- The editorial board of the Friction and Wear journal, when considering an article, checks all received materials using the antiplagiat.ru system.
- In case of detection of numerous borrowings, the editors act in accordance with the COPE rules - Download file.
- Articles with an originality index of at least 75% are accepted for consideration.
- Also, when submitting materials, the author must confirm that the article has not been published or has not been accepted for publication in another scientific journal.
- The editors reserve the right to reject the publication of the article in case of violation of the above rules.
