The Friction and Wear journal is the most comprehensive source of information in the CIS countries on the state of scientific research in the field of friction, wear, lubrication and their practical applications.
The subject of the journal corresponds to the passport of the specialty 05.02.04 "Friction and wear in machines" of the Higher Attestation Commission of Belarus and 2.5.3 Russia.

Friction and Wear magazine has been published in English since 1980 in hard copy in the USA by Allerton Press, Inc..
Since 2007, the English version of “Journal of Friction and Wear” has been published by a new publisher, Pleiades Publishing, which provides:
